Newly formed partnership to develop hydrogen buses and UAVs for Europe

For the project, GOLDI plans to manufacturer and sell 12- and 18-meter fuel cell buses across Europe, as well as explore opportunities in the hydrogen-powered drone market.

To grow business in the two applications of choice, GOLDI has signed a local distribution agreement with Alsafe in order to sell its hydrogen tanks across Europe.

GOLDI will sell Alsafe’s 350 bar, 60-180 litre water capacity hydrogen storage tanks for heavy-duty transport applications, and its 350 bar, 3-12 litre water capacity tanks for unmanned aerial vehicle applications.

Hy-Hybrid will provide the technical support required by GOLDI’s customers in hydrogen storage solutions for heavy-duty transport and unmanned aerial vehicle applications.

“We have contacted different hydrogen storage suppliers for GOLDI’s fuel cell bus project and finally decided to go with Alsafe due to their competitive product pricing and qualifying Europe hydrogen regulations,” said Dr. Naveed Akhtar, CEO of Hy-Hybrid Energy.

“The combination of Chinese and Hungarian companies’ collation is the beginning of fast track mass manufacturing competencies that we are setting-up in the EU to accelerate the fuel cell deployment which will steer toward quick cost reduction.”
