July 29, 2026 — RENOVA, Inc. announced that the Tokushima Tsuda Biomass Power Plant resumed normal operation on July 25, 2026, as planned, after completing repairs to damaged parts.
The power plant, owned by RENOVA’s consolidated subsidiary Tokushima Tsuda Biomass Power Plant G.K., had suspended operations on July 8, 2026, after abnormal pressure occurred in its high-pressure turbine equipment during operation. Subsequent inspections confirmed damage to the steam control valve connected to the high-pressure turbine.
RENOVA said on July 21 that it had decided to carry out parts repairs in preparation for restarting the plant within July 2026. The company confirmed on July 29 that the repair work had been completed and that normal operations had resumed.
The company said the suspension falls within the range of unscheduled suspension days anticipated in the initial plan for its overall biomass power generation business. As a result, RENOVA said there will be no impact on its consolidated financial results forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
RENOVA added that it will promptly disclose any other matters requiring announcement if they arise.
