April 9 ,Roscosmos is working together with the Kurchatov Institute and Rosatom to resume nuclear-powered rocket engine research, Roscosmos Space Systems Department Deputy Director Denis Kutovoi said.
"We have a project we are planning to implement together with the Kurchatov Institute and organizations of the Rosatom state corporation, i.e. resuming research on a nuclear-powered rocket engine," Kutovoi said at a session of the Russian Space Forum.
