CREEI hosted the Wudongde Hydropower Station Water Storage Acceptance Conference in Kunming. The meeting considered that the Wudongde Hydropower Station project has the first stage of water storage to the reservoir water level of 895 meters, and agreed to start the sluice water storage work in January 2020.

Wudongde Hydropower Station is the first cascade of four water elevator stages in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River in the Sichuan-Yunnan boundary river.
