Japan’s first commercial offshore wind farm, Goto, has commenced operations.

The Goto Floating Wind Farm consortium (SPC) said the wind farm, which started up on Monday, employs the world's first ujse of a hybrid spar-type floater featuring a steel upper section and a concrete lower section.
