PNE Group has secured a success in the latest French wind power tender, with its Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm selected among 39 awarded projects.
The tender, held under the PPE2 programme, was highly competitive. A total of 144 bids with an aggregate capacity of 2.38 GW were submitted, while 39 projects representing 808 MW were awarded. PNE France was one of 11 winning developers.
The Oinville-Saint-Liphard project, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, will consist of four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 MW.
The tender followed a pause of nearly one year after the July 2025 round, in which PNE France secured the Chery and Romescamps projects. The French government relaunched tenders in early April this year, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3.
PNE said the timing was favorable, as the Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm received approval in May, allowing it to be submitted in the latest tender. The approval process took only 15 months.
