Global Maritime has been appointed by TetraSpar Demonstrator ApS to support decommissioning of the TetraSpar Demonstrator Project offshore Karmøy, Norway.

The company said the project marks the final phase of the demonstration, which has operated since 2021 with a 3.6MW Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy turbine on a floating foundation owned by TEPCO Renewable Power, RWE, and Stiesdal Offshore.
