Since the collaboration began in June 2023, SHACMAN and TELD have made notable advancements in integrating vehicle and charger sales and improving fast-charging technology. Zhao Chengjun, Sales Director of SHACMAN and General Manager of Shaanxi Auto Sales Company, noted: “By accelerating the implementation of fast-charging solutions for mainstream heavy truck models, we are delivering comprehensive, scenario-based, one-stop solutions to users.” A key achievement includes the successful testing of 900A high-power fast-charging technology in Chongqing, enabling 10 kWh of charge in just one minute.
The partnership is expanding across three core areas to align with the rising new energy heavy-duty truck market. First, the companies are enhancing resource integration and network expansion. TELD’s expertise in smart charging infrastructure and energy management complements SHACMAN’s vehicle manufacturing strengths. This collaboration involves coordinating service teams and financial resources to support new energy logistics and build a robust charging network.
Second, technological innovation remains a priority. SHACMAN and TELD are jointly developing ultra-fast charging, automated charging systems, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, and big data applications. These efforts aim to improve charging efficiency, enhance safety through automation, and enable bi-directional energy flow between trucks and the power grid. Data analytics will also provide insights into user behavior and vehicle performance, driving continuous improvements in products and services.
Third, the partnership is committed to establishing industry standards for efficient, intelligent, and sustainable energy solutions for heavy-duty electric trucks. By setting benchmarks, SHACMAN and TELD aim to support the broader adoption of new energy vehicles in the logistics sector.
Guo Yongguang, President of TELD, emphasized the user-focused approach: “By accelerating the implementation of fast-charging solutions for mainstream heavy truck models, we are delivering comprehensive, scenario-based, one-stop solutions to users.” This collaboration underscores both companies’ dedication to addressing user needs while advancing sustainable transportation in China’s rapidly growing electric vehicle market.
