The agreement follows critical regulatory approvals, including a final license from the Port of Los Angeles issued earlier this month and a federal permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers obtained in November 2024. In September 2024, the Port of Los Angeles also approved the engineering plans and related documents for the project, developed in collaboration with Shell International Exploration and Production.
“As we expand into the United States, we are proud to collaborate with All-Ways Metal, a highly respected and experienced woman-owned fabrication business,” said Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power.
The pilot installation, developed with Shell Marine Renewable Energy, aims to serve as a scalable model for future wave energy systems in the U.S. and globally. By utilizing a domestic supply chain, the project is expected to reduce lead times and support environmental, social, and governance goals. The initiative operates under a pilot test agreement with Shell Marine Renewable Energy.
“We are honored to partner with Eco Wave Power on this forward-thinking project,” said Rachelle Pickens, CEO of All-Ways Metal.
Established in 1983, All-Ways Metal provides sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining services to industries such as aerospace, medical, and transportation. In March, Eco Wave Power strengthened its advisory board by appointing Hilary E. Ackermann, a board member of Vistra Energy.
This project represents a significant step in advancing wave energy technology in the U.S., with a focus on sustainable energy solutions and local collaboration.
