Boasting abundant wind and solar energy resources, Gansu is an important comprehensive energy base in China. In recent years, the province has vigorously developed new energy and built a 100 billion-level new energy equipment manufacturing industry cluster.

According to official statistics, since 2021, Gansu has established over 100 new energy support industries, along with the completion and operation of several new energy equipment manufacturing projects.

This has led to the formation of a comprehensive new energy equipment manufacturing industry system encompassing wind turbine manufacturing, photovoltaic modules, and energy storage batteries.

As a key area for the development of the new energy industry in Gansu, Jiuquan city is building a national-level new energy base.

At Ouhao New Energy Power (Gansu) Co., Ltd.'s factory in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Jiuquan, the acceptance and operation of the company's inaugural 4.8GW high-efficiency heterojunction solar cell and its component production line have recently been completed. The equipment engineers then promptly commenced the debugging process for the second production line.
