EverWind Fuels has secured exclusive rights to advance its innovative green hydrogen project on the Burin Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to harness renewable wind power and convert it into green hydrogen, subsequently transforming it into green ammonia. This green ammonia will find its purpose as an eco-friendly fertilizer on EverWind’s planned farms, slated to begin power generation operations by 2027.

This significant announcement firmly establishes EverWind as one of the foremost green energy providers not only in Canada but across North America. The company is actively developing two large-scale projects in Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia, solidifying its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions in the region.

Trent Vichie, the CEO and Founder of EverWind Fuels expressed his gratitude for the visionary leadership of Premier Furey and Minister Parsons of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Their dedication to positioning the province as a global leader in the green energy transition has accelerated the growth of the renewable green energy sector on the international stage. Vichie also acknowledged the crucial support from the federal government, particularly Ministers O’Regan and Wilkinson, in driving Canada’s path towards decarbonization.

Vichie emphasized that EverWind is actively constructing an unmatched portfolio of green energy projects, projected to exceed 10 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy capacity. This colossal undertaking aligns seamlessly with global decarbonization objectives, reaffirming Canada’s position as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.
