Electric Lexus RZ Sport Concept Making First US Appearance at Monterey

The Lexus display at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering at Monterey Car Week 2023 (17-20 August), will highlight the Lexus RZ Sport Concept—most recently seen at Tokyo Auto Salon—and the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series. Making its first US appearance, the Lexus RZ Sport Concept is based on the recently launched 2023 Lexus RZ 450e battery electric vehicle. (Earlier post.)

Equipped with high-output 150 kW motors in the front and rear, the concept also features a lower suspension (by 35 mm), 21-inch tires, custom aero parts and bucket seats in the front and rear.

Modifications to the RZ 450e body include carbon fiber panels on either side of the matte black grille, a carbon fiber hood with large air scoops, flared wheel arches and aerodynamic louvers.

The concept features flared wheel arches and two carbon fiber wings: one from the roof, and one from base of the rear lid.
