Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned its third hybrid wind-solar plant with a total capacity of 450 megawatts (MW) at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
In a statement, Adani said the plant, composed of 420MW solar and 105MW wind plants, has a power purchase deal with SECI at Rs 2.67 per kilowatt-hour for 25 years.
It is housed in AGEL’s subsidiary Adani Solar Energy Jaisalmer One Private Ltd.
The third hybrid plant came following the commissioning of a 390MW hybrid plant in May and a 600MW hybrid plant both located in Jaisalmer, with a total capacity of 1,440MW, making it the largest wind-solar hybrid power developer globally.
AGEL’s total capacity is now around 7.17 gigawatts.
