Nordex Wins 99.5MW Irish Order

Nordex Group has received a turbine order totalling almost 100MW from Bord na Mona for the Oewinny 2 project in Ireland.

The contract includes the delivery and installation of 31 N117/3600 turbines rated at a reduced 3.21MW.

It also includes a premium service for the maintenance and servicing of the turbines over a period of 15 years.
Oweninny 2 will be built in County Mayo in the West of Ireland.

Deliveries and installation of the turbines on project-specific 117.5 metre tubular steel towers is scheduled to start in spring 2022.

Commissioning is scheduled for the end of the same year.
