Haskel Supports Australian Hydrogen Refuelling Project

As part of a new partnership, Haskel Hydrogen Systems will supply ATCO and Fortescue Metals Group (Fortescue) with fully packaged hydrogen refuelling systems for the H2 Refueller project.

Backed by the Western Australian Government and led by Haskel, the project will focus on the design and construction of Western Australia’s first hydrogen refuelling station at ATCO’s Janakot depot.

ATCO’s and Fortescue’s fleet of Toyota Mirais will refuel at the station which will utilise green hydrogen produced by ATCO’s Clean Energy Innovation Hub which has been generating green hydrogen for over a year.

Kapz Malhotra, General Manager of Business Development at ATCO Gas Division, said, “When we first met the team at Haskel, the quickly understood the scope of what ATCO and Fortescue were looking to achieve in the long term and offered the best product technology, backed with outstanding customer service, which made them the obvious choice as a supplier for our hydrogen refueller.”
