UNIDO noted positive changes in the manufacturing sector of Venezuela, passing the first report on the study of the agro-industrial complex to the President.

UNIDO and Venezuela have a joint country program for 2018-2022 to increase production, improve productivity and safety of agricultural products. From the materials of the report, it follows that over the past year in Venezuela, despite the difficult economic situation, "the first evidence emerged that the new policy in the field of agriculture gives positive results in the manufacturing sector."
