Distribution Network Live Working Robot Officially Put Into Use

31 Dec 2019
The distribution network live working robot chaired by Zhang Liming, the leader of the distribution maintenance team of the State Grid Tianjin Binhai Power Supply Company, was officially released in Tianjin and delivered to the first batch of application units. This innovative technology equipped with artificial intelligence technology will be applied to the field work site of the power distribution network, which will improve work efficiency and ensure the safety of field work.

During the R & D process, the live working robots of the distribution network broke through key technical issues, such as visual recognition, motion control and electromagnetic interference. It has the characteristics of accurate positioning and autonomous path planning, and covers many areas of live working robots in distribution networks. Technology, standards and specifications are blank.

Zhang Liming said that replacing robots with humans to perform "minimally invasive surgery" on the distribution network effectively solves the traditional manual tasks of high labor intensity, high safety risks, and low work efficiency, reducing operational risks and ensuring personal safety. . At present, the robot has been piloted in 10 power supply units of the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company, and has played an important role in maintaining power and quickly receiving power for users.

According to the cooperation framework agreement signed by the Tianjin Municipal Government and the State Grid Corporation of China this year, the State Grid Corporation of China has invested in the construction of an industrialized distribution network field operation robot base in Tianjin. The industrial chain of research and development, production, sales and operation and maintenance services is The pioneer cities of the Tianjin revolution created energy and provided support for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Liu Zhaoling, a staff member of the State Grid Tianjin Power Equipment Department, said that the robot industrialization base can meet the functional requirements of production, assembly, commissioning, testing and training, and promote the ubiquitous electric power Internet of Things technology and the technology of live working robots on the distribution network. Continuously improve the intelligence level of grid maintenance.
