Uniper and Respect Energy have signed six-year Power Purchase Agreements for electricity and Guarantees of Origin generated from four new Uniper photovoltaic assets in Poland, the companies announced on July 6, 2026.

The agreements cover solar projects in Pakość, Kłodawa, Domanowo and Krotoszyce, with a combined capacity of 219 MWp. Energy delivery is expected to begin in 2028. The PPAs are intended to provide long-term price stability while supporting the decarbonization of Poland’s energy system.
Under the agreements, Respect Energy will purchase renewable electricity from Uniper’s Polish solar sites, strengthening its clean electricity trading portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe. The companies said the deal supports their shared goal of advancing the transformation of Poland’s energy system and Europe’s transition toward renewable energy.
The four contracted solar projects are part of Uniper’s wider renewable energy expansion. In December 2025, the company made an investment decision to develop five additional solar projects in Poland and the United Kingdom, with a combined capacity of around 288 MWp.
Respect Energy is a Central and Eastern European energy transition company active in energy trading, renewable power purchases, project development and battery energy storage services. Uniper, based in Düsseldorf, is a European energy company with global operations and about 18.5 gigawatts of power generation capacity, with investments in renewables, hydrogen and other low-carbon energy carriers.
