Tesla Reports Q2 2026 Production, Deliveries and Energy Storage Deployment

03 Jul 2026

Tesla, Inc. reported on July 2 that it produced more than 450,000 vehicles and delivered over 480,000 vehicles in the second quarter of 2026.

The company also deployed 13.5 gigawatt-hours of energy storage products during the period, reflecting continued growth in its energy business.

Tesla said the vehicle figures include production and deliveries from its global factories in the United States, China and Germany. The results come as the company continues to expand production capacity and improve efficiency across its facilities.

The energy storage segment has become an increasingly important part of Tesla’s business, supporting grid stability and the integration of renewable energy. Demand for storage systems has grown as utilities and homeowners seek solutions for intermittent solar and wind power.

In Texas, Tesla’s Gigafactory Texas in Austin serves as a major hub for vehicle and battery production. The state’s energy needs and business environment align with the company’s growth in both automotive manufacturing and energy storage.
