Naturgy announced that it will invest more than €300 million through 2030 in the expansion and modernization of its natural gas distribution network in strategic municipalities of Nuevo Leon. The announcement followed a meeting in Madrid between Naturgy's Executive President Francisco Reynés and Nuevo Leon Governor Samuel García, focused on new opportunities to jointly develop key infrastructure.
The investment represents Naturgy's largest single commitment to Mexican infrastructure in years, and arrives at a moment when Nuevo Leon's energy demand is growing faster than its grid can absorb.
