YIDO, a professional infrastructure asset management company, announced on the 27th that it has received final approval for a solar power generation project in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province,Korea.

YIDO stated on the 27th that it recently obtained final approval for a 20MW-scale solar power generation project in the Jeokseo-ri area through the South Chungcheong Province development project review and Dangjin City permits. A source from YIDO said, "Including the 50MW project currently under construction in Saseong-ri, we have secured eco-friendly power assets totaling 70MW in the Daehoji-myeon area of Dangjin."

Earlier this year, in January, YIDO proactively secured the power grid through the conclusion of a transmission usage agreement. The company is currently finalizing detailed designs and plans to commence phased construction. The goal is to begin commercial operation (COD) in February 2027.

This project is a key pillar of an integrated energy platform strategy connecting solar power, wind power, BESS, Energy Storage System, and data centers. Based on the 70MW solar power in Dangjin, the company is expanding into rooftop, parking lot, and floating types, while also concurrently advancing a 400MW offshore wind power project in Incheon Ongjin County.
