Ceigall India has executed two long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for the development of solar photovoltaic power-generating stations with a combined capacity of 337 MW under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0).
In a press release, Ceigall India stated that it executed PPAs for these projects through its subsidiaries—Ceigall Green Energy MH1 Limited and Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
The first project, with a capacity of 190 MW, will be developed across four districts in Maharashtra and entails an EPC cost of approximately ₹772 crore (including GST). The second project, with a capacity of 147 MW, will span two districts in the state and has an EPC cost of approximately ₹597 crore (including GST).
The combined EPC value of both projects stands at around ₹1,369 crore (inclusive of GST). The execution timeline for the projects is 18 months.
Ceigall India Limited, an infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, has been expanding its renewable energy portfolio since entering the sector in September last year.
Under the scope of work, Ceigall India will undertake the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the solar photovoltaic power plants. This will be followed by operations and maintenance, along with a long-term commitment to supply power for 25 years under the PPA framework.
These agreements mark Ceigall India’s continued expansion into the renewable energy segment, complementing its established EPC capabilities in transportation infrastructure. The projects are expected to enhance the company’s order book visibility while strengthening its long-term presence in solar power generation.
