March 23- Tajik Energy and Water Resources Minister Daler Juma has held a meeting with the managing director of India's energy company NTPC Limited, Gurdeep Singh, the ministry's press center said.
The meeting took place in Delhi as part of the international forum Bharat Electricity Summit 2026. The discussion focused expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, particularly in the areas of electricity production and transmission, attracting investment, and implementing joint projects.
It was noted at the meeting that NTPC, as one of the largest electricity producers in India and the region, has significant experience in developing coal, gas and hydropower, as well as renewable energy projects. The sides emphasized the importance of utilizing the company's advanced experience in implementing major energy projects, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the improvement of energy efficiency in Tajikistan.
