LotusFlare's DNO Cloud platform delivers consent management and digital commerce capabilities that support a Network API Exposure Layer. This enables communication service providers (CSPs) to expose and monetise advanced network functions through standardised APIs. The collaboration enhances Ericsson's existing portfolio of network solutions and strengthens its leadership in programmable networks.
The two companies will jointly develop solution blueprints for typical integration scenarios, covering API access, consent management, and monetisation pathways. These blueprints will help CSPs accelerate the commercial rollout of network API-based services.
Vonage, Ericsson's global communications platform, will integrate the expanded API offerings to enable developers and enterprises to create innovative applications that leverage high-performance connectivity as a competitive advantage.
Niklas Heuveldop, Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Global Communications Platform, as well as CEO of Vonage, stated: "We are delighted to establish this strategic partnership with LotusFlare. The combination of Ericsson's high-performance, programmable networks with LotusFlare's Network Abstraction capabilities, Aduna's global network API aggregation capabilities, and Vonage's network powered enterprise solutions will accelerate CSPs' ability to unlock new network capabilities and take advantage of one of the most important value creation opportunities for the industry."
Sam Gadodia, CEO and Co-Founder of LotusFlare, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Ericsson as an investor in LotusFlare. Since our founding, our mission has been to simplify technology and customer experience. Ericsson's investment represents a powerful validation of our product innovation and market impact. We are confident this partnership will unlock new market opportunities and accelerate the development of critical network asset monetization capabilities for CSPs globally."
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The partnership positions both companies to drive faster adoption of network API monetisation and support the growing ecosystem of 5G- and AI-enabled services worldwide.
