
Domestic cement production increased 7.4 per cent year-on-year to 973,709 tons from 906,629 tons in the same month of 2024. Exports amounted to 5,897 tons, representing a 7.6 per cent decline compared with 6,379 tons exported in October 2024.
Imports totalled 559 tons during the month, marking a 25 per cent rise from 447 tons in October 2024.
For the January–October 2025 period, cumulative cement consumption in Argentina advanced 7.2 per cent year-on-year to 8.432 million tons from 7.864 million tons in the corresponding period of 2024.
Domestic production over the same ten-month period rose 7.4 per cent to 8.49 million tons from 7.906 million tons a year earlier.
Cement exports showed notable improvement, increasing 30.6 per cent year-on-year to 60,198 tons from 46,107 tons in the first ten months of 2024. Meanwhile, imports declined 28.1 per cent to 2,806 tons compared with 3,904 tons in the year-ago period.
The sustained growth in domestic consumption and production reflects continued recovery in construction activity across Argentina during 2025, supported by stable demand from infrastructure and housing projects nationwide.
