2.4 Million Euro Order From Greece

20 May 2025  by fuelcellsworks.
Enapter AG, a leader in anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzers, has secured an order from Tekal S.A. in Greece for a megawatt-scale multicore electrolyzer. The equipment will produce green hydrogen for the H2-HUB state research project under the Center for Research and Technology Hellas. The hydrogen will support applications such as fueling hydrogen vehicles, electricity generation, and other uses along the hydrogen value chain. Delivery is planned for the second quarter of 2026.

Dr. Jürgen Laakmann, CEO of Enapter, stated: “The current new customer acquisition is further proof of our good positioning on the market. Our AI powered efficient and scalable solutions can precisely meet the needs of companies and effectively support them in their projects.” The company anticipates additional orders from global markets, reflecting strong demand for its technology.

Enapter will showcase its innovations at two major industry events in May 2025. From May 20 to 22, the company will participate in the World Hydrogen 2025 Summit & Exhibition in Rotterdam, Netherlands, a leading trade fair for the hydrogen sector with approximately 15,000 visitors annually. Enapter will present at a joint stand (D18) with its partner Adsensys B.V. From May 21 to 23, Enapter will also exhibit at the H2 Expo in Piacenza, Italy, at stand C181, highlighting its AI-powered AEM electrolyzers.

Enapter’s AEM technology eliminates the need for costly and scarce materials like iridium, leveraging a modular design to optimize efficiency with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. The company’s electrolyzers are used by over 360 customers in more than 55 countries for energy storage, industrial applications, refueling, power-to-X, and research. Headquartered in Germany, Enapter operates a research and production facility in Italy and a joint venture with the Wolong Group in China.

The company, listed on the Frankfurt and Hamburg stock exchanges (ISIN: DE000A255G02), continues to advance green hydrogen production, supporting sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
