ES Foundry Signs 150MW Supply Deal With Us Community Solar Developer

Under the deal, ES Foundry will provide domestically produced solar cells for use in high-quality BNEF Tier 1 solar modules, supporting the developer’s expanding portfolio of renewable energy projects nationwide.

Solar accounted for 66% of all new electric generating capacity added to the grid in 2025.

This partnership enables the developer to access additional investment tax credits for using US-made components, strengthening its ability to deliver sustainable energy solutions. In early 2025, ES Foundry opened a new solar cell manufacturing facility in Greenwood, South Carolina. Spanning over 400,000 square feet, the plant is projected to employ 500 workers by June. The facility positions ES Foundry as a leading producer of high-quality crystalline silicon photovoltaic solar cells in the United States, further supporting the growth of the domestic solar industry.
