Chinese manufacturer Baobian Electric has delivered 7 sets of 400 kV main transformers for the coal-fired power plant in Payala, Bangladesh.
Also, a 400 kV start-up backup phase transformer was part of the package.
The Payara 2×660 MW coal-fired power station in Bangladesh is currently the largest coal-fired power station project in Bangladesh.
