Elon Musk: Tesla Fast EV Chargers to be Made Accessible to Other Brands Later in 2021

Elon Musk has confirmed that electric car maker Tesla intends to make its fast chargers available to vehicles from other brands, tweeting this will happen later this year.

In a reply to a tweet, Tesla’s co-founder and CEO also said that the Supercharger network will “over time” become available to other brands in all countries.

According to unconfirmed earlier reports, Tesla plans to make its Superchargers accessible to other electric cars in Norway and Sweden in September 2022.

Musk has recently also tweeted that Tesla Superchargers’ capacity will be increased from 250 kW to 300 kW.

Tesla in expanding the Supercharger network in Croatia

Earlier this year, Tesla put Croatia on the list of countries in which it intends to expand its network of Superchargers, after starting selling its EVs in the country five months previously.

In 2019, Musk said that the company planned to open a store in Serbia as well.
