No new offshore wind turbines will be installed in Germany this year, for the first time in 10 years, according to German industry groups.
Germany's current installed capacity of offshore wind power is 7,770 MW, second only to China and the United Kingdom, ranking third in the world. In 2020, Germany added 219 MW of installed offshore wind power capacity.
