Two 33kV Distribution Stations Completed In Kalba

The Kalba Administration of the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWGA) has completed a project to develop and upgrade two distribution stations, with a voltage of 33kV, in the city of Kalba.

In addition to the Al Hisn and Block 19 distribution station projects, SEWGA has also implemented projects to modify networks at a cost of more than $2.72mn (AED10mn), with the aim of developing networks in the city of Kalba.

Commenting on the projects, the chairman of SEWGA, Saeed Al Suwaidi, said that the authority is working to provide the best services for the residents of the city of Kalba, aiming to keep abreast of the development projects in the city, and provide infrastructure for electricity, water, and natural gas projects.

The projects have been implemented in line with the vision and directives of the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi.

The projects were completed on schedule, and were implemented based on the best technical specifications, and the application of the latest technology, according to the state-run news agency, Sharjah24.

The development projects will benefit all areas in the city of Kalba, and will meet the increasing demand for energy and water, thus spurring progress and development in the emirate of Sharjah.
