The demand for coal in the German steel industry has fallen sharply, coupled with the continuous development of renewable energy, it is expected that in 2021, German hard coal imports will drop by 18.6% year-on-year to 26.7 million tons. This is also the sixth consecutive year that German hard coal imports have fallen.
