According to statistics released by Korea Customs Service (KCS), from January to October 2020, South Korea imported 102.341 million tons of coal, a year-on-year decrease of 14.971 million tons or 12.8%. Among them, coal imports in October were 9.957 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.256 million tons and a drop of 24.6%.
