SATBA Inks 15-Year Energy Obtain Deal with Iran's Merely Biogas Power Plant

 Iran's Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (known as SATBA) has marked a contract with the Water and Wastewater Department of Tehran Province to acquire the electricity produced by the country's merely biogas power plant which is run by the talked about department.
PAVEN accounted that Abbasali Mesrzadeh the Deputy Head of Water and Wastewater Department of Tehran Province stated that based on the contract SATBA is departing to buy regarding 500 billion kilowatt-hours (Kwh) of electricity more than a 15-year period at a base cost of 10,500 rials (2.5 USD), the portal of the Energy Ministry.

As accounted that the talked about deal has been marked subsequent to a government instruction that obligates the Energy Ministry to acquire the electricity created by renewable power plants.

Mesrzadeh stated that the talked about plant, which is one of the largest wastewater biogas plants in the world, has a supposed yearly electricity production capability of 44 gigawatts in addition to 140 terajoules of thermal energy, which is equivalent to the power contribute of a six-acre housing town.
