Recently, Dongfang Electric Group International Cooperation Co., Ltd. and a consortium of two Egyptian companies have successfully signed a contract for the supply of turbine generator units and supporting equipment for the Julino Hydropower Station in Tanzania.
The signing and fulfillment of the contract of the project is another huge hydropower project contract obtained by Dongfang Electric after successfully fulfilling the Brazilian Jerry Hydropower Project and the Ethiopian Gibb 3 Hydropower Project. It is by far the largest one-time export capacity of Chinese independent brands. The hydropower equipment contract has refreshed the largest export of hydropower equipment previously created by Dongfang Electric to China.
This project gave birth to a new record of China's hydropower equipment export, which is a milestone in the history of Dongfang Electric and even China's hydropower equipment going to the world.
