Narada Power Signs Energy Storage Project in Australia's Northern Territory

18 Mar 2026  by Narada Power
Narada Power successfully signed a 117MWh energy storage project in Australia's Northern Territory. As the northernmost administrative region in Australia, the Northern Territory is rich in renewable energy resources but has relatively weak power grid infrastructure. With the expansion of new energy installed capacity, the demand for dispatchable energy storage capacity has become increasingly urgent.

Once implemented, the project will provide diversified services such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, emergency power supply, and load balancing for the local power grid. It will help enhance the local renewable energy consumption capacity and fill the gap in power grid supply stability.

The project will adopt Narada Power's self-developed Center L Plus 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system. This system is the core of the company's energy storage product matrix and has been successfully applied and verified in multiple large-scale energy storage projects worldwide. It adopts a "3 + 4 + 5" safety design concept, establishing a full lifecycle safety guarantee from battery cells to applications, making it a perfect fit for the application scenarios in the Northern Territory.
