The two-year contract, with an option to extend, includes additional services such as infrastructure development and substation construction. Over 30 turbines are scheduled for delivery in 2025, marking the initial phase of the collaboration.
Ralf Nietiet and Daniel Müller, managing directors of Enercity Erneuerbare, emphasized the partnership’s role in advancing their objectives: “Ambitious growth and expansion targets can be realized even more efficiently with strong partners. With Enercon, we ensure reliable access to high-quality technology within a contractually defined timeframe.”
Benjamin Seifert, Enercon’s regional head for central and northern Europe, highlighted the positive momentum in Germany’s wind energy sector: “The transfer of building permits to project implementation is increasing. Successful projects depend on early and agile cooperation. The drafting of this agreement and the first implementation steps have shown a very constructive relationship between our companies.”
Aurélie Alemany, chief executive of Enercity, underscored the broader impact of the deal: “Our partnership is a positive signal for the German wind industry and the regional economy. Wind energy creates added value—especially at our company, production, and wind sites.” The collaboration is expected to support both the energy transition and economic growth in northern Germany.
The agreement reflects a commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure through reliable technology and cooperative efforts, contributing to sustainable energy goals and regional economic development.
