As an extension of the airport authority’s team, Parsons will oversee project and contract management, collaborating with design, construction management, and engineering inspection teams, as well as technical advisors and stakeholders. To maintain project oversight and ensure timely completion, the company will utilize its in-house expertise and engage subconsultants as needed.
Phase 1 of the expansion involves adding approximately 200,000 square feet of new and renovated terminal space. The project aims to streamline passenger flow by reducing wait times, consolidating checkpoint operations, and improving concourse connectivity. It will also expand airside concessions and introduce new amenities, all while preserving the airport’s distinctive aesthetic.

The company adheres to global standards, including those set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ensuring high-quality outcomes.
In addition to its work in Florida, Parsons secured a $53 million, three-year contract in December 2024 with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City in Saudi Arabia, further demonstrating its global expertise in infrastructure development. The RSW terminal expansion project underscores Parsons’ commitment to improving regional connectivity and supporting economic growth through innovative airport infrastructure solutions.
