Every February, Oslo Energy Forum invites key actors and decision makers of the global oil and gas- and energy industry to a broad dialogue and sharing of deep insights on trends and developments impacting our energy system.
Oslo Energy Forum has grown with the development of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. It was first time arranged in 1973 during the initial period of the Norwegian oil and gas industry, known as the Sanderstølen Conference. Growing with the presence of the global oil and gas industry in Norway, the Forum aspire to build on the collaborative and open spirit of cooperation that has been critical to the successful development of the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The conference is held in February each year at the historical building of the Grand Hotel in Oslo; inviting to a personal and collegial atmosphere of interaction and dialogue. Around 150 delegates attend each year on an invitation only basis. With a range of side meetings, the forum has also developed to become a highly efficient meeting space for the industry.
