In recent days, with the arrival of positive news, clean energy has become one of the most eye-catching industries in the field, attracting more and more attention to this blue ocean. What is the current situation and prospects of the clean energy industry? What should the future clean energy system look like? These questions will be answered at the 25th China Hi-Tech Fair - Global Clean Energy Innovation Expo.

The 25th China International High-Tech Fair (referred to as "High-Tech Fair"), hailed as the "Top Technology Exhibition in China," will be held in November this year. As a core component of the High-Tech Fair, the Global Clean Energy Innovation Expo brought a national and international high-level energy technology innovation summit last year. This year, the event will expand further with the exhibition area reaching double the size of the previous year, promising to bring a clean energy exchange feast for the energy sector.

This year's exhibition area has doubled compared to last year

The China International High-Tech Achievement Fair (referred to as "High-Tech Fair") is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. It has been successfully held in Shenzhen for 24 consecutive sessions and is currently the largest and most influential technology exhibition in China.

The High-Tech Fair integrates achievement trading, product exhibitions, high-level forums, project investment, and cooperative exchanges. It focuses on showcasing advanced technologies and products in areas such as energy conservation and environmental protection, next-generation information technology, biotechnology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, and new energy vehicles. After years of development, the High-Tech Fair has become a significant global platform for high-tech exchanges, playing an increasingly important role in promoting the commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of high-tech achievements, as well as fostering economic and technological exchanges and cooperation among countries and regions.

The Global Clean Energy Innovation Expo, as a core component of the High-Tech Fair, is guided by the concept of "Chinese Energy, Global Energy" and driven by the purpose of "Promoting Global Sustainable Development with Clean Energy". It focuses on industries related to the solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, nuclear energy, hydrogen energy, geothermal energy, oil and gas, and the clean and efficient utilization of fossil energy. The Expo integrates various aspects such as power grid, energy storage, energy internet, comprehensive energy services, energy conservation and finance. Led by the Chinese government, global energy leading enterprises, energy investment groups from various provinces in China, energy research institutions and international energy organizations, the event aims to promote innovation and development in the energy industry collectively.

Overview of Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center

This year's Global Clean Energy Innovation Expo will be held at the Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center, with a planned exhibition area of 160,000 sq.m., which is twice the size of last year's event. The Expo will also feature high-level forums such as the Global Energy Sustainable Development Summit. Distinguished guests, including Chinese government leaders, CEOs of leading companies, top global scientists, industry leaders, international organizations, and foreign representatives, will be invited to attend. The event will provide a platform for China's central enterprises, energy research institutions and global energy companies to showcase their innovative products and technologies in their respective fields. It is expected to attract over 250,000 visitors.

Clean energy development is now facing tremendous opportunities

Energy is the foundation and driving force of human civilization progress. Currently, human society is transitioning from fossil fuels to non-fossil fuels, aiming to achieve the "dual carbon" target, which brings enormous opportunities for clean energy development. Therefore, seizing the opportunities of energy transition, promoting green and low-carbon development, and achieving the "dual carbon" transformation have become essential tasks across all industries, given the deep integration of clean energy technology with information technology, smart technology, and various sectors.

Currently, an increasing number of countries and regions are setting renewable energy development goals and plans. The green recovery of clean energy development will enhance national economic resilience, low-carbon competitiveness, and social resilience, while also stimulating economic growth and job creation in support of achieving sustainable development goals. Simultaneously, global energy companies and industries are actively venturing into the new energy sector, increasing their investments in research and development of clean energy technologies and expanding their presence in the market. Clean and low-carbon energy is being embraced as one of the key directions for future development.

As a result, the clean energy industry is bound to witness another wave of excitement, and this year's Global Clean Energy Innovation Expo will serve as a "guiding beacon" for the global clean energy industry.
