Fuels of the Future 2023 - Call for Papers & Exhibition and Participation Offer Started

Today the Call for Papers for the 20th International Conference on Renewable Mobility "Fuels of the Future 2023", which will take place live in Berlin on January 23 and 24, 2023, starts. Until June 12, 2022, interested speakers from the biofuel industry and the renewable mobility sector can submit their short abstracts and actively shape the program.



Whether it is the use of biomethane, bioethanol and biodiesel in the transport sector, perspectives of market-established biofuels, Power-to-X fuels and the latest developments in market access, or current developments in the international biofuel trade: the range of topics for the International Conference on Renewable Mobility 2023 under the motto "Fuels of the Future 2023 - Navigator for Sustainable Mobility" is diverse. The CityCube Berlin opens its doors from 23 to 24 January 2023 and welcomes participants from Germany, Europe and worldwide. The Bundesverband Bioenergie e.V. (BBE), together with the the Union zur Förderung von Oel- und Proteinpflanzen e.V. (UFOP), the Bundesverband der deutschen Bioethanolwirtschaft e.V. (BDBe), the Fachverband Biogas e.V. (FvB) and the Verband der Deutschen Biokraftstoffindustrie e.V. (VDB) invite experts from industry, science and practice to actively shape the congress program of the event with their presentations. Start-ups are also cordially invited to contribute their input and share their knowledge.

The requested topics include current industry developments, economic and political framework conditions for renewable fuels at national, European and international level, technology developments and sales potential in international markets, strategies and measures that positively combine climate protection, security of supply and sustainable mobility, or the use of biofuels from residual and waste materials. Innovative concepts for the biofuel market and renewable mobility as well as experiences of Best- practice- examples of biofuels and renewable fuels in road transport, aviation, shipping, agriculture and forestry are sought.

Interested speakers are encouraged to write a short abstract in German or English and submit it online via the application form. Further information on the application process as well as a list of thematically suitable contribution proposals can be found here. All submitted contributions will then be reviewed by the congress advisory board.

After the International Congress on Renewable Mobility was held as a digital event in the past two years due to the pandemic, a live event is planned again for January 2023. The focus will be on networking and maintaining contacts while complying with the applicable hygiene measures.
