Sinopec Unloads the World's Largest LNG Carrier for the First Time

On November 10, the Q-MAX LNG carrier Almafia, which set sail from Qatar, successfully berthed at the Tianjin LNG receiving terminal wharf of Sinopec Natural Gas Branch. This is the 100th LNG carrier safely unloaded at the terminal this year.

This type of carrier is the world's largest LNG carrier with the most advanced facilities. It has a designed carrying capacity of 266,000 cubic meters, which is equivalent to 160 million cubic meters of natural gas. Currently, there are only 14 ships in operation worldwide.
