Hydrogen will play a key role in the transition to a sustainable economy. That is why Nouryon, Tata Steel and Port of Amsterdam are studying the construction of a 100 megawatt hydrogen plant in the greater Amsterdam metropolitan area, project H2ermes. The new plant would use water and renewable electricity to produce up to 15,000 tons of green hydrogen per year for more sustainable industry, transport, heating and other applications.
