The National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said on Monday that from January to June this year, Uzbekistan's natural gas production was 25.145 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year decrease of 17.1%.
Natural gas is one of the main export products of this Central Asian country.
The decline in exports to China has affected the operations of some foreign companies in Uzbekistan, including Russian Lukoil.
The Statistical Commission said that the country’s industrial output fell by 1.9% in the first half of this year.
